NAI Partners, one of the largest privately held and independently owned full-service commercial real estate firms in Texas, has announced the promotion of Travis Rodgers to partner and Chief Operating Officer. He will also continue to hold the title of Executive Vice President. In this role, Travis will be fully responsible for the day-to-day operations of the firm as it executes its strategic vision, as well as hold responsibility throughout the Brokerage Services portion of NAI Partners’ business in conjunction with Managing Partner Jon Silberman. Among Mr. Rodgers’ accomplishments have been facilitating a safe return to the office for the firm across all three of its locations, as NAI Partners was one the first companies to return to its offices last spring; to helping significantly expand the NAI Partners’ Texas Investment Sales Division with multiple executive- and senior-level hires; and developing a sense of community during a time when many have never felt more apart, among other achievements. Additionally, as the global pandemic upended the business world at large, Mr. Rodgers helped spearhead a concerted effort to fully engage NAI Partners’ workforce both inside and outside the office, helping ensure our robust company culture remained at the forefront of the firm’s service delivery. During the time the company worked remotely together, leadership fueled responsibility during the uncertainty by ensuring that all members of the staff had the tools they needed to succeed and were constantly kept in the loop on how the company was moving forward and what needed to be done to continue working toward its collective goals and objectives. And all of this was realized while minimizing potential setbacks during an unprecedented year, helping galvanize the company more than ever in delivering on its mission of client service excellence. Mr. Rodgers joined NAI Partners in the spring of 2019, with responsibility for overall executive management of several key areas of both the operations and revenue management, as well as growth of the firm. Prior to joining NAI Partners, Mr. Rodgers worked at Whitestone REIT, where he served as Director of Operations and was responsible for the day-to-day real estate functions of its 6 million-sq.-ft. retail, office and industrial portfolio across Texas and Arizona. Previously, Mr. Rodgers was with Walmart Realty for 18 years, where he performed multiple deal-making and leadership functions across the U.S., with a specific focus in Texas. His experience with Walmart included land sales, building sales & leasing, broker management, property and asset management, acquisitions, special revenue projects, social media/marketing and government relations. Mr. Rodgers is a graduate of New Mexico State University and the University of Arkansas School of Law. He has his CCIM designation, is a licensed real estate professional in the state of Texas and maintains his law and real estate broker licenses in the state of Arkansas. He is also the Texas Government Relations Chair for ICSC and has been involved in various ICSC volunteer roles over the last 15 years.
