Houston, Texas, June 3, 2022 – Waterman Steele Real Estate Advisors is proud to announce the addition of Matt Zeis to its team! Matt joins as Vice President, where he will be focused on supporting the firm’s clients’ socially equitable investments including, mixed-income and affordable housing.

Prior to joining WSREA, Matt Zeis served as Director of Finance for a US-based international distribution services company with customers ranging from corporations to governments and law enforcement agencies. Matt Zeis has previous experience in finance for crude oil trading, non-profit finance, and fundraising and ethics compliance.

Matt earned an MBA from Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business with a concentration in finance and real estate in 2017. He also holds a degree from in political science and history from Stephen F. Austin State University.

Matt has served as on the board of the Houston Land Bank as a mayoral appointee since December 2015. He served as board treasurer before being appointed chair in March 2020. He is also a mayoral appointee and chair for the City of Houston’s Board of Public Trusts (Houston Foundation).

In his free time, Matt spends time with his wife Lindsay and their two dogs Charlie and Teddy. They enjoy mountain climbing, traveling, and motorcycling.
