CBRE has promoted Chris Riley to President of Capital Markets for Industrial & Logistics in the United States.
The CBRE veteran will lead a team of more than 100 professionals in the U.S., including CBRE National Partners who specialize in the sale, finance, and recapitalization of industrial and logistics properties. CBRE has been the market share leader for industrial capital markets transactions in nine of the last ten years, according to Real Capital Analytics. The CBRE National Partners practice has grown its sales volume since formation from $2.5 billion in 2010 to $32 billion in 2021.
“Chris is a tremendous leader and strategist who will be focused on the continued growth of our entire Industrial and Logistics Capital Markets business, making sure we are custom-fit not only for today’s market, but for the future,” said Chris Ludeman, Global President of Capital Markets for CBRE.
“Chris knows what’s around the corner; whether that’s investor demands, where new and evolving distribution hubs are, or the evolving needs of industrial users. Mr. Riley brings nearly 35 years of industrial & logistics real estate experience to the role, most recently as a Vice-Chairman. Based in Atlanta, he has been involved in engagements of more than 800 million square feet of industrial properties in North America with an aggregate value more than $50 billion.
