How Texas’ new energy code affects Houston homebuilders

Houston homebuilders are grappling with a new energy code that went into effect earlier this month.

During this past legislative session, Texas lawmakers adopted the 2015 International Energy Conservation Code, a new green building code developed by the International Code Council.
