Interurban Corp., a multifamily brokerage and asset management firm headquartered just outside of Denver, CO, bought the Woodland Hills Apts. in greater Houston from Crossbeam Concierge and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. for an undisclosed amount.
The 282-unit gated garden-style community delivered in 1992 roughly 20 miles north of Houston at 3918 Atascocita Rd. in Humble, TX. Comprised of one- and two-bedroom units averaging 880 square feet, the complex offers tenants on-site access to a fitness center, clubhouse, lounge, business center, and a swimming pool with sundeck, and has averaged roughly 92% occupancy over the last two years.
Additionally, Woodland Hills sits within a 15-minute drive of the 4,000-acre Generation Park soon to be home to FMC Technologies’ headquarters campus and the 52-acre Redemption Square district.
Todd Stewart, Todd Marix, Chris Curry and JC Clemens of HFF’s investment sales team represented the selling venture in negotiations.
