A new grocery store and apartment tower planned on downtown Dallas? near east side will bring Uptown-style development to the neighborhood.

North Carolina-based Greystar Real Estate Partners will build the 10-story high-rise at Live Oak and Texas streets, a block from DART?s commuter rail line.

A full-service Tom Thumb supermarket will be on the ground floor of the new building, which is part of Greystar?s City Lights development.
