Buc-ee’s, a chain of wildly popular convenience stores and travel centers, has closed on the purchase of land for its first Katy location, according to seller Parkside Capital.

The sale closed on June 15, and the price was not disclosed. Buc-ee’s bought 15 acres at the northeast corner of Interstate 10 and Cane Island Parkway, where an interchange and overpass opened last month. Additional roadways will be built around the site over the next several months.
