Trammell Crow Company Promotes Brad Maples to Business Unit Leader for Austin

Trammell Crow Company (TCC), one of the nation’s largest commercial real estate developers and investors, announces that Brad Maples has been promoted to Business Unit Leader for the firm’s Austin Business Unit. In this new role, he will be responsible for all development and acquisition projects, new business pursuits, finance and overall day-to-day operations of the office. Brad assumes the role from Adam Nims, who was promoted to President, Western Operations in April 2020 and has since carried out dual responsibilities. “Brad has been the ultimate partner to me in the TCC Austin office for many years,” commented Nims. “His performance as a leader throughout 2020 and his strategic guidance during the ongoing pandemic is a great illustration of his ability to succeed in his new role as BU leader. Brad is a true team player and a highly skilled developer – I look forward to watching as his career continues to grow at TCC.” “Trammell Crow Company is a truly special place with a unique entrepreneurial spirit and a legacy of delivering exceptional development projects in Austin and across the United States. It is an incredible honor to lead our team of best-in-class development professionals and I am excited to continue growing our presence in Central and South Texas,” commented Maples. Brad joined TCC in 2005 as a development manager, transitioned to a senior associate role in 2011 after earning his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, and ultimately attained the title of principal in 2017. Since 2011, Brad has been directly involved in every completed and in-process project in the Austin BU, totaling 8.7 million square feet of developments valued at more than $3.2 billion. During his career, Brad has been responsible for every aspect of the development process on projects spanning multiple product types, including office, industrial, multi-family, and mixed-use developments throughout Central Texas.
