Brooks Chapman has joined Layne Property Partners as a senior associate of acquisitions and investments.

Chapman brings more than five years of experience on a wide range of Investments in the Commercial real estate industry to the new role. He will help establish and expand relationships within the comercial real estate community for the newly established firm led by former Howard Hughes Corp. CEO Paul Layne.

Chapman joins Layne Property Partners from Berkadia, where he primarily focused on facilitating the origination, underwriting and closing of debt, equity and structured products across the United States as a senior analyst in Houston. During his stint at Berkadia, Chapman led 74 capital transactions totaling $1.5 billion for acquisitions, refinances and recapitalizations.
