Jan joined Wilson Cribbs + Goren after spending 40 years with the New York Stock Exchange real estate investment trust, Weingarten Realty Investors. Her sole practice focuses on commercial leasing for both landlords and tenants across the country in mostly retail, industrial, and office assets.

For six years, Jan served as the Associate General Counsel for Weingarten’s leasing department. From mom-to-pop shops to big-box national tenants, she has seen anything and everything when it comes to real estate leasing. Regardless of the client size, she understands time is money. Therefore, she innately detects issues early on, addresses them, and works quickly to resolve them effectively and efficiently on behalf of her clients.

Jan graduated from the University of Texas with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and received her JD from the University of Houston. Industry speaking, she’s an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) locally and nationally.

Outside of the office, you can find Jan gardening, silversmithing, or working on DIY home projects. But her most favorite activity of all is spending time with her two grandchildren.
