DALLAS, Jan. 14, 2021 – Institutional Property Advisors (IPA), a division of Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), announced today that apartment property investment specialists Michael Ware and Taylor Hill have joined IPA’s multifamily team in Dallas, Texas. Formerly with Berkadia, they will serve as senior vice presidents. “Extending our platform of services to more investors in Dallas-Fort Worth and throughout Texas is an important element of IPA’s strategic growth plan,” said Richard Matricaria, executive vice president of brokerage operations. “Partnering Michael and Taylor with our established multifamily team allows us to leverage the advantages of their combined experience and relationships on behalf of our clients and exponentially expand our services to an ever-increasing number of major private and institutional investors.” Ware and Hill spent the last five-plus years at Berkadia, where they transacted over $3 billion in multifamily assets. An expert in investment underwriting, strategic marketing, and sales negotiations, Ware began his brokerage career at Marcus & Millichap. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of North Texas and an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University. Ware is a board member on the Folsom Institute for Real Estate and chairs a committee for the Urban Land Institute’s Center for Leadership. Hill specializes in the marketing and disposition of multifamily assets throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. He supports clients with investment strategies, transaction management, and financial structuring. Previously, he spent more than five years with Marcus & Millichap and was involved in the disposition of 15,000-plus multifamily units valued at greater than $1.2 billion. Hill graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics. “Taylor and I are excited for the opportunity to further benefit our clients by becoming part of IPA’s collaborative investment sales platform,” said Ware. “We look forward to continuing the growth of the brand in Dallas-Fort Worth and working closely with our new colleagues to bring more multifamily investment opportunities to investors throughout the Southwest.”  “As the market leader in Dallas-Fort Worth multifamily sales, we are committed to providing a higher level of execution and service for our clients, and Michael and Taylor share this same high standard,” commented Drew Kile, IPA senior managing director. “Merging their skills and growth trajectory with ours will provide even more value to our clients and further accelerate our growth in the DFW multifamily market.” “Their relationships in the market are extremely complementary to our team’s and bring immediate synergies to our new collective business,” added Joey Tumminello, IPA director. “Most importantly, their desire to grow exponentially aligns with ours as Dallas-Fort Worth becomes a top tier market for apartment investors.”
