Today, the HBA, one of the largest metropolitan bar associations in the nation, has expanded its goals to include public service and better access to legal services for all citizens in the Greater Houston area.

The Real Estate Section participates in and contributes to several community-based fundraising campaigns including Habitat for Humanity, Texas C-Bar, and Historic Records Preservation. Monetary scholarships are awarded to a student at each of Houston’s law schools.
