Mueller is the realization of a public-private partnership between the City of Austin and Catellus Development Corporation to redevelop the land formerly occupied by the old Robert Mueller Municipal Airport, which served Austin from 1930 to 1999. The project is set to break ground during the second quarter of 2021, with construction anticipated to be complete by mid-2023. The center will be located in the Aldrich Street Diamond Building at the corner of Aldrich Street and Simond Avenue, adjacent to the project.
