Indianapolis-based Duke Realty (NYSE: DRE) closed on a 772,500-square-foot industrial property near Port Houston.
Duke purchased Bayport Distribution Center II, a two-building industrial property on Underwood Road in Pasadena. Duke bought the property from Mountain West Industrial Properties and its institutional partner for an undisclosed price. HFF’s Rusty Tamlyn, Trent Agnew and Dane Petersen represented the seller.
The property is comprised of a 600,000-square-foot building and a 172,500-square-foot building and is fully leased to three tenants. One of those tenants, Houston-based Packwell, leased 286,000 square feet at Bayport Distribution Center in August 2016. Packwell packages plastic resin.
