HOUSTON – August 21, 2017 – CBRE announces the long-term lease renewal for Houston-based law firm Porter Hedges LLP at 1000 Main in Houston, Texas. The full-service law firm, which represents clients in complex transactions and litigation across a wide range of industries, renewed its 105,026-sq.-ft. office lease in one of downtown Houston’s premier office buildings.
CBRE’s Charles Gordon, Brandon Clarke, Paul Penland and Ryan Roth represented Porter Hedges in lease negotiations with the landlord, 1000 Main LLC, which was represented by Wade Bowlin with PM Realty Group.
“It was imperative for us to create a solution that would help Porter Hedges continue its reputation as one of Houston’s leading law firms,” Mr. Gordon said. “After a thorough evaluation of their needs and how they could continue to best serve their clients, they determined that staying downtown would suit them best and from there, our team worked with the landlord to structure a lease that met the interests of all parties involved.”
“We are excited to keep one of the top law firms in the country in our building and look forward to working with them for many years,“ Mr. Bowlin stated.
1000 Main is an 837,161-sq.-ft., Class A office tower located in the heart of Houston’s Central Business District. Other notable tenants in the building include Shell, Sanchez Energy, UBS, and NRG Energy.
