The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston is planning a $156 million expansion for its League City campus that would include a new 60-bed hospital wing, a parking garage and additional building space.

UTMB President David Callender presented the plans May 9 to the University of Texas’ Facilities Planning and Construction Committee.
