After Chevron Corp. (NYSE: CVX) vacates its Bellaire campus later this year, potential buyers will have more options for its future use.
The Bellaire City Council earlier this week approved changing the land use designation of the approximately 30-acre site from “business park” — currently zoned as a Technical Research Park District — to a special development area. The site is just outside of the Interstate 610 Loop and bounded by West Loop South, Fournace Place, South Rice Avenue and Mayfair Street.
