Some appealing properties around the city, from the Central Business District to the east side, have landed on the market — courtesy of Austin Independent School District.

The school district issued a request for proposals Monday for businesses and organizations interested in buying or leasing 10 properties, including its downtown headquarters on West Sixth Street. AISD said it will also consider using the properties for “alternative, civic-minded proposals.” The properties are worth a combined $95 million.
