Billion-dollar plant to go up at Dow’s Freeport facility

Dubai-based MEGlobal, a company partially owned by Dow Chemical Co. (NYSE: DOW), will build a new petrochemical plant at the chemical giant’s facility in Freeport, the Houston Chronicle reports.
