Plans are in the works to redevelop a former office space in the Texas Medical Center into a new hotel and retail space.
Marketing materials from Houston-based Transwestern show renderings of a new 23,000-square-foot Embassy Suites Hotel slated for the intersection of Dryden and Main streets, adjacent to the Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center towers.
The project, dubbed The Medical Center Crossing, will also include street-level retail and restaurants, such as Chipotle, Subway, Starbucks and Salata, according to the plans.
