Fabio Serrato, PE, joins Fishbeck as a Senior Project Manager of Parking and Restoration. In his new role, Fabio will be responsible for leading the development of innovative parking structures for Fishbeck clients throughout the United States. With 22 years of specialized experience in parking structure design, Fabio has performed all aspects of parking structure planning, structural design, functional design, condition assessments, and restoration of existing parking facilities.

Most recently with CallisonRTKL, he has over 40 years of experience in hospitality design and delivery around the globe. Nagib Y. Madi, AIA, LEED GA promoted to Senior Associate at Terracon Consultants Inc.

Terracon announces the promotion of Nagib Y. Madi , AIA, LEED GA, to the position of senior associate. With more than 25 years of experience, Nagib serves as Senior Architectural Consultant in Terracon’s Houston North Loop office. His responsibilities include construction documents review, project management, building envelope design, consulting, and commissioning Nagib is also involved in construction risk services, as well as developing new client relationships.

Today, David Gerber, the founder and managing broker of Gerber Realty, LLC, passed the torch to his daughter, Melissa Gerber Brams, by appointing her as President and CEO of Gerber Realty After 34 years in the industry, David remarked, “I knew now was the time for Melissa to leverage her previous work experience, valued relationships, and market knowledge to provide exceptional service and add value to Gerber Realty, LLC. Melissa sets herself apart from other real estate professionals with her ability to listen to the clients to understand their needs truly. After two decades in financial sales, life insurance planning, and enterprise information technology sales, Melissa Gerber Brams chose a new career path in the commercial real estate brokerage industry. In 2014, she joined her father, David Gerber, in the family commercial real estate brokerage business– Gerber Realty, LLC.

Since joining the firm, Melissa’s focus has been buyer and tenant representation in the retail, office, and industrial sectors and the disposition of commercial real estate properties within the Greater Houston Metropolitan Area. She is a licensed real estate broker in Texas and will now serve as Managing Broker of the firm.

As a fourth-generation Houstonian, Melissa states, “My roots are grounded in Houston, and I desire to grow our firm to reflect the core values of the Gerber and Brams families. One day, I would love to see one of my three daughters join me in the growth and development of the family business. I love being a positive role model and a successful brokerage businesswoman.”

Active in the Houston business community, Melissa serves as Chair of the Sponsorship Committee of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) of Houston. Additionally, she has taken leadership roles in various community non-profit organizations.

Top retail cap markets expert returns to Edge Realty

Edge Realty Partners is pleased to welcome Kevin Holland back to the Houston Capital Markets team.  Holland most recently served as executive director with Cushman and Wakefield in Houston, Texas, providing advisory services to private and institutional clients in the greater Gulf Coast region, based on specialized strategies for the disposition of opportunities ranging from strip centers to anchored properties. 

Joining Kevin is Britton Holland, also formerly of Cushman and Wakefield, and a top advisor with a focus on valuation, strategic planning, and transaction structure, enabling him to provide solutions that align with clients’ real estate needs.  As an entrepreneur, Britton has developed commercial real estate software applications designed to optimize retail site selection and land development opportunities, efficiently analyzing satellite imagery via machine learning and AI techniques.

Kevin and Britton both have diverse experience, including assisting clients with debt and equity, purchasing non-performing loans, acquiring properties on behalf of public and private REITS, and disposing of properties and portfolios for private and institutional clients.
