Robert began his real estate career in 2002 in Temecula, California with Lee & Associates before relocating to Dallas/Fort Worth over 10+ years ago.   He has had experience working with both industrial Landlords and Tenants across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and beyond. He and his family live in Burleson and he graduated from Baylor University.

Parker LaBarge becomes CBRE’s 5th CCIM-Designated broker in San Antonio

San Antonio, TX – CBRE Vice President Parker LaBarge recently obtained his CCIM designation, making him the company’s fifth broker in San Antonio to do so. LaBarge joined CBRE in 2019 and specializes in tenant representation and project leasing for medical and office clients.

LaBarge becomes the fifth broker in CBRE’s San Antonio office to complete the CCIM program, one of the commercial real estate industry’s most elite designations. Since 1967, more than 20,000 professionals have completed the CCIM Designation program.

Western Specialty Contractors names new manager of San Antonio branch

Western Specialty Contractors promoted Stephen Cordova to manager of its San Antonio, Texas, branch.

As branch manager, Cordova is responsible for overseeing sales, daily operations and field personnel at the branch, plus developing new projects within the branch’s territory. Founded in 2000, the San Antonio branch offers the following services: building cleaning, concrete/masonry restoration, epoxy and chemical grout injection, expansion joint systems, exterior wall coatings, parking/plaza deck restoration and waterproofing.

Cordova joined Western’s San Antonio Branch as a Sales/Project Manager in 2018 where he held the position for nearly four years before being promoted to Assistant Branch Manager in July 2022. Prior to Western, he worked 2.5 years as a Construction Manager for Meritage Homes.

JLL adds managing director for Dallas, Austin and San Antonio markets

Jennifer Clendening has joined JLL as managing director, overseeing regional property management across the Dallas, Austin and San Antonio markets in Texas.

In her new role, Clendening will be responsible for ensuring client satisfaction, driving growth in developing new business, cross-selling the platform through close partnerships with business line leaders and enhancing a culture of collaboration, connectivity and cohesion.

With over 25 years in the commercial real estate industry, Jennifer brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in property management, project management and business development across multiple markets.

Most recently, as Senior Vice President of Investor Services at Partners Real Estate, Jennifer was instrumental in driving growth and ensuring service excellence across major Texas markets, including Dallas, Austin, San Antonio and Houston. Additionally, Jennifer served as Managing Director of Regional Business Development at CBRE, where she played a pivotal role in expanding business and increasing market share across the region.

From 2009 to 2014, Clendening was at JLL as a Vice President in the company’s property management vertical, where her strategic leadership and commitment to excellence earned her recognition as a top performer within the organization.

Houston’s AMB Architects names new managing principal

Houston-based AMB Architects promoted Roy Locke to managing principal.

Locke’s elevation to the AMB leadership team stems from his demonstrated value to clients and leadership in firm operations. He joins firm founder Alyse Makarewicz and Managing Principal Breann Nash at the helm of firm management. Locke will lead technology adoption and integration, and he’ll have oversight of AMB’s project process.

Within AMB’s collaborative team, Locke is responsible for developing design concepts and strategies that align with clients’ goals and budgets. He brings ideas to life through the integration of architectural elements, finishes, and furnishings. His creative energies and background in architecture and urban design provide a platform for exploring the intersection of these practices with interior design and landscape architecture.

Locke leads AMB clients through the design process and walks alongside them during construction. He is a Registered Interior Designer and Registered Accessibility Specialist, meaning he knows how to create functional and beautiful interior environments that will accommodate people of all abilities.
