Residents across Bryan-College Station looked to the skies around 4:20 p.m. Wednesday as the familiar blue and white airplane often known as Air Force One flew over the George H.W. Bush Library and Museum on the Texas A&M campus. The flight, which was carrying the casket — and family — of former President Bush from the Washington, D.C., state funeral to Houston, soared just 2,000 feet over the heads of a crowd of hundreds who gathered in the Reed Arena parking lot.
