McCownGordon adds precon talent in DFW

McCownGordon Construction, one of the nation’s top construction management firms, recently added Gale Roberge, senior director of preconstruction, to its team in Dallas-Fort Worth. She brings more than three decades of construction management experience to the firm. Her addition further expands the company’s presence in the DFW market and brings extensive, specialized expertise to the quickly growing team.

Leveraging her years of experience and knowledge of the market, Roberge will lead the preconstruction team in DFW, working closely with trade partners, design teams and owners to deliver comprehensive preconstruction services. In her career, she has worked on projects across a wide variety of market sectors including K-12, higher ed, municipal, tenant interiors and commercial. Roberge’s depth of estimating expertise gives her the knowledge to develop creative cost-saving solutions, allowing clients to achieve their goals.

Most recently, Roberge served as senior preconstruction manager for an ENR Top Contractor in the DFW region. Roberge has been active in several industry organizations and served on the Board of the Association of Professional Women in Construction (APWC).

Gensler names new principal, Ken Wiesehuegel in firm’s Houston office

Ken Wiesehuegel has been named principal of the firm’s Houston office.

Ken currently serves as Gensler’s professional services practice area leader for the South Central Region. For more than 30 years, Ken has specialized in law office design and led the client relationships on more than six million square feet of professional services projects across the globe for local, regional and Am Law 100 and 200 firms. He is a registered architect, a registered interior designer, a LEED accredited professional and a current member of the American Institute of Architects.

JLL strengthens tenant rep team with strategic new hire in Dallas

Jason Dodson has joined the firm’s tenant representation team in Dallas as senior vice president.

In his new role at JLL, Dodson will specialize in office tenant representation, while also servicing clients across a range of asset classes. Dodson will join the Dallas tenant representation team led by Bret Hefton and Torrey Littlejohn.

Prior to joining JLL, Dodson served as senior director at Cushman and Wakefield, where he spent more than six years providing tenant representation services and advising corporate clients with local and multi-market site selection, acquisitions, dispositions and lease and purchase negotiations.

Dodson is active in the Dallas community, volunteering at The Stewpot, Habitat for Humanity, and Reading Partners.

Dodson earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in business law from Loyola Marymount University.

Gensler adds principal, Todd MacPherson in Houston office

Todd MacPherson has been named principal of the firm’s Houston office.

Todd is a senior designer within the Aviation & Transportation Practice. Past projects include Terminal 6 at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, planning for the new terminal at Brussels Charleroi Airport, and Terminal Expansion at Portland International Jetport in his home State of Maine. He is the firm’s aviation practice area leader for the South Central Region, and is a registered architect, a LEED accredited professional and a current member of the American Institute of Architects.

Gensler adds principal, Vince Flickinger in Houston office

Gensler is pleased to announce that Vince Flickinger has been named principal of the firm’s Houston office.

Vince is a global leader in Gensler’s Energy practice who brings over 20 years of experience in a broad range of project types and roles. His depth of knowledge in corporate workplace design has helped deliver successful projects for clients like BP, Deloitte, Norton Rose Fulbright, Chevron and Johnson & Johnson.

Outside of work, Vince is an active member in several AEC organizations including the Texas Association for Interior Design and the International Interior Design Association.
