McCownGordon adds talent in DFW

Travis Walker has joined McCownGordon, one of the nation’s top construction management firms, as a business development manager in its DFW office. He joins the firm after 10 years of professional experience in the DFW area, specifically in the public sector.

In his new role as business development manager, Walker will work closely with McCownGordon business unit leaders to strengthen and build relationships in the DFW region, showcasing the value that McCownGordon brings to its clients. His proven dedication to understanding client needs, fostering collaboration, and delivering tailored solutions will enhance the firm’s mission to provide the best building experience.

Previously, Walker served as a client solutions manager at a top construction firm where he launched a new municipal public sector market. He earned his degree from Texas Tech University.

McCownGordon adds precon talent in DFW

McCownGordon Construction, one of the nation’s top construction management firms, recently added Gale Roberge, senior director of preconstruction, to its team in Dallas-Fort Worth. She brings more than three decades of construction management experience to the firm. Her addition further expands the company’s presence in the DFW market and brings extensive, specialized expertise to the quickly growing team.

Leveraging her years of experience and knowledge of the market, Roberge will lead the preconstruction team in DFW, working closely with trade partners, design teams and owners to deliver comprehensive preconstruction services. In her career, she has worked on projects across a wide variety of market sectors including K-12, higher ed, municipal, tenant interiors and commercial. Roberge’s depth of estimating expertise gives her the knowledge to develop creative cost-saving solutions, allowing clients to achieve their goals.

Most recently, Roberge served as senior preconstruction manager for an ENR Top Contractor in the DFW region. Roberge has been active in several industry organizations and served on the Board of the Association of Professional Women in Construction (APWC).
