Jonathan Eckerd joins Partners Real Estate as Senior Vice President, Investment Sales in Houston

Eckerd will focus mainly on sale-leasebacks and net lease investment sales

Houston, TX, February 7, 2023 – Partners Real Estate (“Partners”), one of the largest independent commercial real estate firms in Texas—and the company formerly known as NAI Partners—today announced that Jonathan Eckerd has joined the firm as Senior Vice President, Investment Sales in its Houston office.

Before joining Partners, Mr. Eckerd focused on corporate sale-leaseback and single-tenant and multi-tenant net lease investment sales at Ascension, where he served as Vice President. Prior to his time at Ascension, he spent 2 years at Marcus & Millichap, where he worked as a net lease advisor. Jonathan brings over 15 years of proven experience in risk management, strategic planning, and process implementation in both foreign and domestic environments.

“Attracting a professional of Jonathan’s caliber and extensive industry experience is yet another testament to the drawing power of Partners’ unique commercial real estate platform,” said Scott Lunine. “We are singular in what we are able to offer high-end commercial agents, from better splits, to the chance to own a piece of the business, to exclusive opportunities to invest in real estate—Partners continues to be the ideal firm for entrepreneurial-minded professionals.”

Prior to real estate brokerage, Mr. Eckerd served 8 years in the United States Army and was awarded a Purple Heart after sustaining injuries while in support of Task Force Iron Claw during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2006-2007. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration, Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the University of Houston.

The addition of Mr. Eckerd to the Partners team comes on the heels of a busy few months for the company, which not only rebranded in September but also recently announced the opening of its Dallas office and expansion into North Texas commercial real estate markets.
