Austin, Texas – (Jan. 24, 2023) – Adolfson & Peterson Construction (AP), a national, family-owned construction management and contracting company, has hired Tommy Meserole as the new Director of Preconstruction for Central Texas in AP’s Austin office. Meserole brings 30+ years of preconstruction, project management and estimating experience to the company.

In his new role, Meserole will lead preconstruction teams as well as organize and oversee initial planning, design and engineering activities to optimize project budget, scope and sequence across a range of markets. His talent for building rapport with existing and prospective clients will also be pivotal to growing business for AP’s Central Texas region.

Meserole’s career encompasses various roles and responsibilities. His proficiency extends to conceptual budgeting; reviewing estimates for accuracy, risk and return on manpower; proposal development and submittal; contract negotiations; project scheduling; subcontractor management; hiring and training personnel; and other tasks.

Originally from Missouri and raised in Dallas, Meserole has been part of the Austin community since attending college at the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned an architectural engineering degree. During his career, he has served on various committees focused on safety and sustainable building practices.

The AP Central Texas office’s notable work includes developing Sunrise Commerce Center in Round Rock and several projects with San Antonio’s Northside ISD and the University of Texas at Austin. AP’s Midland-based West Texas office recently broke ground on an expansion of the Midland College campus. AP Gulf States recently completed PGA of America’s new headquarters in Frisco, while also working on the completion of Vari’s headquarters with VariSpace in Coppell. Other completed projects include Arlington ISD Arts and Athletics Complex, several education facilities for Fort Worth ISD, and Park Cities Presbyterian Church in Dallas.
