Institutional Property Advisors expands top-tier multifamily broker team in Dallas-Fort Worth

DALLAS – Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today that multifamily investment specialist William Hubbard has joined IPA in Dallas, Texas. In his new role, he will partner with the firm’s veteran Texas-based team led by executive managing directors Will Balthrope and Drew Kile. The Texas team has closed over 300 multifamily transactions valued at $15 billion in the last three years. Hubbard will work alongside the Dallas-based team led by Kile, Taylor Hill, Michael Ware and Joey Tumminello.

A Dallas native, Hubbard previously served as a first vice president with CBRE. He joins IPA as a first vice president investments. During his career, Hubbard has been involved with 70 commercial real estate transactions totaling $1.2 billion. He graduated from the Virginia Military Institute with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business and economics. Hubbard is a member of the Texas Real Estate Commission and the Urban Land Institute.

Wendy Travis, AICP, has been appointed Southwest Regional Director for Transportation for engineering firm Garver. In her six years with the firm, Travis has been instrumental in growing Garver’s Transportation Planning and Environmental Team to more than 20 experts across four states and has spearheaded major projects including the Texas Department of Transportation Ports-to-Plains Feasibility Study. In her new role, Travis will lead the firm’s transportation efforts across Texas.
