Pflugerville Community Development Corporation hires executive assistant

The Pflugerville Community Development Corporation in Plfugerville, Texas, has hired Lisa Curtis as Executive Assistant during a January 22 PCDC Regular Board meeting. 

Curtis will play a key role in the organization, supporting the executive director and enhancing operational efficiencies across the organization. 

In her new role, Curtis is responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative duties at the PCDC in support of the Executive Director and the PCDC staff. Her responsibilities include scheduling, assisting with events, managing correspondence, and ensuring the organization and maintenance of files and records to support the PCDC’s initiatives. 

“Lisa brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role,” said Terri Toledo, PCDC Interim Executive Director. “Her experience coordinating conference events and managing projects combined with her organizational skills will be invaluable as we continue to drive economic growth and community development in Pflugerville.”

A resident of Pflugerville for 18 years, Curtis brings 16 years of professional experience to the PCDC. She served as a Policy Analyst and Conference Event Planner at the Texas Workforce Commission. Curtis holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southwestern University, Georgetown, TX, and is pursuing a master’s degree in organizational leadership.
