Dallas based commercial general contractor, Gordon Highlander, has recently hired Scott Matthews as director of ground-up operations. Scott is a graduate of the University of Louisiana in Monroe and brings more than 20 years of extensive general contracting experience in the DFW tilt-up industry. His outstanding reputation for leadership, communication, and organization with many expansive projects throughout the DFW metroplex made him the perfect fit for this position.
Gordon Highlander’s growth in the ground-up division has been projected to double in 2023. April Petter, an experienced property and asset management professional, has been promoted to Vice President | Director of Lease Administration with Weitzman, a leading retail-focused commercial real estate services firm based in Texas.  

In her new role, Petter performs a key role coordinating statewide between property management, accounting and lease administration functions at Weitzman. To this position, she brings a background in property and asset management, investment analysis and lease administration, as well as software programming, training, special projects and more.

Petter received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in real estate from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.

Hunter Alexander will serve as a Senior Vice President of Tenant Representation in the firm’s growing Austin office. He will be responsible for tenant representation, transaction management, and new client and business pursuits. Alexander will work alongside Managing Director and Partner Connor Greissing to continue boosting the firm’s presence in the market. Stream, a national commercial real estate firm offering an integrated platform of services, has been committed to playing a significant role in the city’s ever-changing landscape since 2006. 

Alexander comes to Stream from Endeavor Real Estate Group, where he served as a Tenant Representation Brokerage Advisor.

Prior to moving to Austin for his role at Endeavor, Alexander was a Tenant Advisor at Cresa for nearly two years. He is credited with helping St. Louis City SC identify and execute the acquisition of an office building. Other notable clients Alexander has worked with in the commercial real estate industry include The Coca-Cola Company, GoTransverse, Infinity Water Solutions, USI Insurance, Prophet Capital, and Wells Fargo Advisors.

Alexander began his career in medical equipment sales after graduating from the University of Missouri and worked his way from a Territory Sales Representative to Sales Manager of North American accounts for Medical Positioning Inc. in Kansas City, Missouri.
