SHM Architects PLLC, announces the appointment of Hans C. Herrmann, ASLA, AIA as Design Principal of the new SHM Landscape Design Studio.

With over 20 years of experience, he joins SHM with a distinguished tenure in practice and academia. He brings a wealth of knowledge as a dually educated and licensed practitioner and former professor. While with Ike Kligerman Barkley Architects in New York, he played a key role in the design of bespoke luxury residential projects and with Mississippi State University he earned international recognition for his innovative interdisciplinary design education initiatives including the recent founding of the Design Leadership Foundation, which aims to support disadvantaged design students.
