Dallas-based architecture and design firm Corgan appointed Bob Rayes as Chief Operating Officer and Principal.
Rayes previously served as Corgan’s Chief Information Officer for nine years.
In his new position, Rayes will manage expense and capital budgets; lead business planning and governance; and oversee operational efficiencies, advancement, innovation, and governance. He will also continue to lead all aspects of technology, including its acquisition, deployment, management, and security.
As Corgan continues to grow — now with 18 locations and 1,000+ team members globally — Rayes’ dual role creates a more integrated approach to operational efficiency, risk management, and long-term business planning.
As Corgan’s CIO, Rayes was able to meld his architectural background with legal and technological expertise to foster an innovative and secure technology environment. His expertise keeps Corgan’s projects moving forward in smarter and more efficient ways, ultimately helping to deliver the best solutions for its clients. Rayes has developed and implemented technology solutions at the intersection of architecture, technology, and business for more than 20 years. His ability to keep Corgan aligned with the evolving nature of technology is directly tied to his deep understanding of the firm’s architectural goals and challenges.
Rayes earned a Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Architecture, and Master of Business from Lawrence Technological University as well as a Juris Doctor from the University of North Texas. In addition to being a licensed architect in Michigan and Texas, he is a licensed attorney in Texas, and is PMP and NACD Directorship certified.
