Partners arranges sale of Houston office building for Adkisson Group HQ

Partners, one of the largest independent commercial real estate firms in Texas, arranged the sale of an 19,800-square-foot Class-A office building located at 4809 Westway Park Blvd in Houston. Adkisson Group purchased the property for its new company HQ.

“We were seeking a Class A development project to relocate and grow our company, and 4809 Westway Park provided what we were looking for,” said Steve Adkisson of of Adkisson Group. “The location offers us accessibility to our job sites and clients through Beltway 8 to all major thorughfares in the Houston area.”

Partners’ Travis Land, represented the buyer Enclave Partners, LLC an affiliated company of Adkisson Group in the transaction. Jude Filippone with Transwestern represented the seller.

Berg Hospitality Group announces Buttermilk Baby, new concept eatery coming to Houston

Berg Hospitality Group has announced their newest concept coming this fall, Buttermilk Baby, which reimagines the All-American soda fountain with modern techniques and aesthetics paired with fresh dishes and soft serve ice cream selections in partnership with the iconic brand Carvel®. Buttermilk Baby is located in the popular M-K-T Heights development at 600 N. Shepherd Dr, Building 2, which is owned by Triten Real Estate Partners and Radom Capital. Berg Hospitality was represented in lease negotiations by Erin Dyer of Read King, and Triten Real Estate Partners was represented by Steve Radom of Radom Capital.

Berg tapped the award-winning New York-based design firm, ICRAVE, to help create the modern and cool 3,100-square-foot space with bright and fun “Instagrammable” designs. The all-new concept will feature breakfast platters, flakey biscuits, fried chicken sandwiches, juicy burgers and salads, using only the best ingredients available.

The ice cream bar will serve sweet treats from Carvel, which is the first-of-its kind collaboration in the Lonestar state and its debut into the Houston market.

Caddis Construction breaks ground on new medical office building in Frisco

Caddis Partners® hosted a groundbreaking to commemorate Frisco Medical Pavilion II. Shovels hit the ground Friday, February 10 in a celebration attended by Caddis executives and other project stakeholders. The new medical office building provides an opportunity to create personalized patient care in the fast-growing vibrant community of Frisco. 

The project will be a 60,000-square-foot medical office building in the highly visible location of 12850 Dallas Parkway. It has an estimated delivery of early 2024 and is experiencing a surge in healthcare demand from users across specialties. The medical pavilion is just north of Texas Health Frisco, a full-service hospital which opened in December of 2019. 

Once complete, Frisco Medical Pavilion II will be a Class A medical office building featuring a state-of-the-art lobby, elevator cabs with gurney capacity, 20,000-square-foot floor plates and the capability for an ambulatory surgical center on the first floor. Exterior features will include an approximately 15,000-square-foot outdoor wellness area, exterior building signage opportunities along the Dallas North Tollway, covered patient drop-off and on-site parking with a 5-to-1,000 ratio. The property is being well received by local medical businesses and several suites have already been secured.

Located in one of the highest-income cities in North Texas as well as one of the fastest-growing cities in the U.S., the property features more than 250 retail and dining options within a three-mile radius. Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) handles leasing for the project.

The general contractor for the project is Richardson, Texas-based Novel Builders, the architect is Dallas-based Grace Hebert Curtis Architects and civil engineering services is provided by Hart Gaugler + Associates.

Weitzman Promotes Property Management Professional Dallas

April Petter, an experienced property and asset management professional, has been promoted to Vice President | Director of Lease Administration with Weitzman, a leading retail-focused commercial real estate services firm based in Texas.  

In her new role, Petter performs a key role coordinating statewide between property management, accounting and lease administration functions at Weitzman. To this position, she brings a background in property and asset management, investment analysis and lease administration, as well as software programming, training, special projects and more.

Petter received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in real estate from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.

Alexander began his career in medical equipment sales after graduating from the University of Missouri and worked his way from a Territory Sales Representative to Sales Manager of North American accounts for Medical Positioning Inc. in Kansas City, Missouri.
