SIOR represents today’s most knowledgeable, experienced, and trusted commercial real estate brokerage specialists, and these individuals are proven experts in their market and leaders in the industry. To achieve the SIOR designation, Melissa completed years of creditable experience and closed transaction volumes in the highly specialized field of industrial real estate; met stringent education requirements; and demonstrated professional ability, competency, ethical conduct, and personal integrity.

About Melissa

Melissa Riddick has been a licensed REALTOR® since 1990 and is active in selling and leasing industrial, retail, office, and other commercial properties and vacant land. In addition to her brokerage experience, Melissa was a property and asset manager for six years. In these roles, she managed retail and industrial properties in Shreveport, Bossier City, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans, Louisiana. She also worked in the commercial construction division of Sealy & Company before her commercial brokerage career. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University. She is a member of the Commercial Investment Division of the Northwest Louisiana Association of REALTORS® (NWLAR) and has previously served on its Board of Directors and as President. She was once Co-Chair of the Buildings and Grounds Committee of NWLAR and is a current member of the Louisiana REALTORS® Association and the National Association of REALTORS®. Melissa has her brokerage license, is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, and is a Notary Public. Before her impressive career in real estate, Melissa was an account executive for a regional advertising and public relations firm.
