Texas-Based Developer Adds Villas to the Mix and Plans Summer 2022 Groundbreaking Austin, Texas—September 8, 2021. Texas-based Legend Communities, experts in managing waterfront property developments, today named NAN PropertiesDeveloper Services the exclusive listing agent for its approximately 70-unit condominium development, The Residences at Tiki Island.
The high-end mixed-use luxury project is located on Tiki Island near Galveston and will also include eight villas, a marina with a restaurant, and boathouse storage for over 200 boats.

”Legend Communities is in the final stages of design and has begun obtaining building permits for the exclusive waterfront resort. Set for groundbreaking in 2022, The Residences at Tiki Island will offer approximately70luxurious two-,three-, and four-bedroom condominium homes, ranging from 1,200 to more than 3,000 square feet. The top two floors will feature two-story penthouses with elevators included in the floor plans.

NAN Properties Developer Services expects to open an on-site sales office at The Residences at Tiki Island by December 2021. Interested buyers visiting the sales office will be able to view detailed renderings, floor plans, and a selection of luxury finishes.

Tiki Island is located between Galveston and the south Texas coast. A town of only 1.5 square miles, the Village of Tiki Island is five miles north of Galveston and only 45 miles south of downtown Houston via IH-45. Originally a small fishing camp, Tiki Island evolved into a place for weekend homes and then into a village that was incorporated in 1982. It is comprised of upscale, primarily waterfront homes. The most recent population count shows that Tiki Island had a population of 1,068 and 482 households, many of whom are affluent retirees and second homeowners.
