Alanna Carter has joined architecture and design firm Gensler to lead the healthcare practice area for the South Central region. This region covers offices in Austin, Dallas, Houston, Nashville and San Antonio.

Carter brings more than 30 years of design experience spanning projects that include hospitals, clinics, senior living and surgery centers.

Gensler’s healthcare practice now boasts a global network of more than 300 experts.

The move follows Cresa’s acquisition of Houston-based Fritsche Anderson Realty Partners and marks the first addition by new Managing Principals and Co-Market Leaders, Anthony Fritsche and David Anderson.

Prior to joining Cresa, Brod was a Managing Director and the Houston market leader at Whitebox Real Estate. A 20-year veteran in the industry, he has transacted more than two million square feet on behalf of a range of corporate and financial clients in the office, life science and industrial property sectors.
