Adolfson & Peterson Construction (AP) hired John Hicks as Director of Business Development for mission critical services. The Austin native brings 10 years of experience to his new role where he will work with AP’s Mission Critical Group. He is responsible for AP’s national mission critical business development efforts, in addition to focusing on Texas. John’s business development leadership is pivotal in building AP’s portfolio of mission critical construction across the nation.

Dallas-based Younger Partners has appointed Kelly Steward as general manager of Artisan Circle, a 282,805-square-foot urban village in Fort Worth.

Stewart brings more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate to her new position. She previously served as director of property management for Younger Partners, leading a team managing 5 million square feet of office and retail space.

Artisan Circle spans five blocks and features salons, spans, restaurants, realty gaming and a movie theater.

Alanna Carter has joined architecture and design firm Gensler to lead the healthcare practice area for the South Central region. This region covers offices in Austin, Dallas, Houston, Nashville and San Antonio.

Carter brings more than 30 years of design experience spanning projects that include hospitals, clinics, senior living and surgery centers.

Gensler’s healthcare practice now boasts a global network of more than 300 experts.
