Matthew Sibley hired at Holt Lunsford Commercial

Holt Lunsford Commercial Investments (HLCI) announces the hiring of Matthew Sibley as Vice President. Sibley will be responsible for sourcing and execution of investment opportunities in Houston.

Sibley will focus on sourcing and execution of new development opportunities in the Houston area, including opportunity identification, contract negotiation, site due diligence, entitlement, design, and construction.

Prior to joining HLCI, Sibley served as Associate Director of Industrial Development at Stream Realty Partners.

Austin Hatley Promoted to Partner, Accounting Advisory Services at Weaver

Austin Hatley has over 12 years of public accounting experience, specializing in technical accounting for complex, nonroutine transactions. He advises both private and public companies on business combinations, consolidations, revenue recognition and lease accounting. He supports clients through transaction-related accounting, financial reporting readiness and implementation of new standards. He also helps CFOs and controllers with accounting process improvements and internal control design.

Cameron Sykes hired at Citizens State Bank

Cameron Sykes has over nine years of experience in community banking, working closely with small to mid-sized businesses in Austin and the surrounding areas. Prior to his current role at Citizens State Bank, Cameron spent his entire banking career at American Bank of Commerce, where he moved up the ranks from teller to Executive Vice President. He has an extensive knowledge of commercial real estate and local business and draws on the insights he gained in the early days of his career.

Chris Crowley hired at Citizens State Bank

Chris Crowley is joining Citizens State Bank with nearly 15 years of experience in community banking. Throughout his 15-year career, Chris has developed extensive expertise in commercial real estate, business banking, and supporting businesses across Central Texas. A fifth-generation Austinite, Chris brings a deep understanding of the local business environment and banking needs, allowing him to effectively support a wide range of business and asset classes.

 Doug Williams
ANALYST | BROKERAGE 

Doug Williams is an Analyst at The Retail Connection’s Dallas office, where he applies his strong analytical skills and passion for commercial real estate to support the brokerage team on a wide range of projects. 

Prior to joining TRC, Doug gained experience on the sales team at All Roads Travel, interned at Northwestern Mutual during the summer of 2023, and worked remotely for Barger and Associates while completing his final years of college.

Doug, a Texas native, graduated from Keller High School, where he was actively involved in football, baseball, and track. He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics with a focus on Real Estate Finance and Wealth Management from the University of Oklahoma’s Price College of Business. During his time at OU, Doug was a member of the OU Capital Group Fellows, the OU Real Estate Club, the Economics Club, and the Wealth Management Club.

Outside of the office, he’s an avid Dallas sports fan who enjoys watching games with friends and training in Muay Thai and kickboxing for fun.

 Jaxx Hatton

 Jaxx Hatton is an Analyst at The Retail Connection, based in the Dallas office, where he leverages his solid background and growing expertise in the real estate industry. Jaxx supports the team by delivering insightful data and research that help drive informed decisions in the competitive real estate landscape.

Jaxx earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance with a specialization in Real Estate from Southern Methodist University. While at SMU, he interned with Lee Lewis Construction as an estimator, where he gained valuable hands-on experience and discovered his passion for a career in brokerage.

A Dallas native, Jaxx attended Trinity Christian Academy, where he played baseball, before heading to Highland Park to continue his education at SMU.

A fun fact about Jaxx: many of the veteran brokers at TRC know his dad, Bervin, a well-respected figure in the DFW brokerage community who has clearly passed down his strong relationship-building skills.
