NAI Robert Lynn announces Giancarlo “GC” Carriero as new Retail Division President

DALLAS – NAI Robert Lynn, a full-service commercial real estate firm part of NAI Global, has announced the appointment of Giancarlo “GC” Carriero as president of its Dallas Retail Division. Carriero brings two decades of comprehensive commercial real estate experience and a proven track record, with transactions totaling nearly 2 million square feet and over $300 million in value. 

In this role, Carriero will oversee the strategic direction and operations of NAI Robert Lynn’s retail practice, focusing on landlord leasing, tenant representation, and commercial land sales throughout the Dallas market.

Carriero’s 20-year career spans multiple disciplines within commercial real estate, including leasing, asset management, acquisitions, development, equity raising, dispositions, redevelopment, business development, and strategic consulting. He has worked for various institutional and entrepreneurial platforms, including Port San Antonio, Brookfield Retail (formerly GGP), Cypress Equities, The MGHerring Group, Tricom Real Estate Group, and, most recently, DuWest Realty.

He has served as Texas Operations Co-Chair for the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), National Next Gen Leadership Board Member for ICSC, and Committee Member for the ICSC Red River States Conference. He maintains active memberships in ICSC, Urban Land Institute (ULI), and the CCIM Institute and is also a 2019–2020 ULI Young Leaders alumni. Carriero holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Trinity University in San Antonio.
