Sam Pouns Joins Cushman & Wakefield as Senior Director

HOUSTON,  Cushman & Wakefield announced today that the commercial real estate services firm has hiredSam Pouns as Senior Director. He will be based in the firm’s Houston office.

Pouns will join the Office and Industrial Tenant Representation teams, assisting clients with their space requirements anddeveloping innovative strategies on lease renewals, relocations, expansions, site selection, lease administration, corporate reporting, subleases, sale-leasebacks, and build-to-suits.

“Sam has an established track record in dozens of national real estate markets including his home base of Houston, having collaborated on a number of notable deals during his time in the industry,” said Clint Bawcom, Managing Principal of Cushman & Wakefield’s Houston office. “Attracting top brokerage talent remains a key priority and Sam will bolster our already prominent Office and Industrial Tenant Representation teams.”

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Pouns was a Managing Director at SquareFoot. Previously, he spent nine years at Fritsche Anderson Realty Partners, where he served tenants across a variety of industries, serving office and industrial companies across the country including a 100,000-square-foot lease for an oil and gas company and a 75,000-square-foot lease for a technology firm.

Pouns has a bachelor’s of business administration in real estate from the University of Georgia.
