Jeremy Edmiston to lead Cushman & Wakefield’s U.S. build-to-rent/single family sector

DALLAS  – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that the real estate services firm has promoted Jeremy Edmiston to Executive Director, U.S. Lead Build-To-Rent/Single-Family Rent (BTR/SFR). In this new role, he will collaborate with the firm’s Capital Markets and Debt teams to provide unified BTR/SFR end-to-end solutions for Cushman & Wakefield’s clients.

“Over the past two years, Jeremy has proven himself a leader who is passionate about finding solutions for ourBTR/SFR clients, building this new sector for our business from the ground up,” said Woody Stone, President, Multifamily Asset Services. “His passion drives him to cultivate a culture of care, and he is masterful at connecting people and opportunities for the good of all.”

Based in Dallas, Edmiston and his team oversee a property management portfolio of 9,500 homes and a pipeline of more than 2,500 homes. As the newly appointed U.S. lead, Edmiston will leverage his deep expertise, strong relationships and the Cushman & Wakefield brand to guide clients through the real estate lifecycle for their BTR/SFR assets.

David Munson, SIOR, joins Cushman & Wakefield as Executive Managing Director in Houston

HOUSTON – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that David Munson, SIOR, has joined the firm as Executive Managing Director in Houston. 

Munson has nearly two decades of experience in Houston and Texas industrial brokerage and will continue to concentrate on landlord and tenant leasing transactions as well as investment sales in the Greater Houston Area. 

“I’m excited to join Cushman & Wakefield and one of Houston’s leading industrial groups,” Munson said. “Houston’s industrial market continues to be robust, but macroeconomic trends are creating some uncertainty. Leveraging my own experience and Cushman & Wakefield’s global platform, data and research best positions me to help clients successfully navigate such complexity.”

Munson joins Cushman & Wakefield from Boyd Commercial, where he was a principal and closed transactions valued at more than $300 million. He began his career in Houston industrial real estate as a leasing director with First Industrial, where he successfully leased a portfolio of more than 5 million square feet. A native Houstonian, Munson is a graduate of Southern Methodist University, earned an MBA from the University of Texas and also has earned the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors designation.

Sarah Briscoe, PE hired at Garver

Sarah Briscoe, PE, joins engineering firm Garver as Houston Structural Practice Leader. With twenty years of structural engineering and design experience, Briscoe has worked on projects in and around Houston and across the country, leading structural design and documents preparation for buildings in different sectors, including a $16 million Instructional Arts Facility at Lone Star College in Houston and a 30,000 square feet City Hall building for the City of Mont Belvieu, Texas.

Elaine Hammett promoted to Vice President of Operations and General Manager at Best Facility Services

Elaine Hammett has been appointed Vice President of Operations and General Manager for Best Facility Services, a leading provider of facility management solutions across the Dallas-Fort Worth market. Hammett assumes operations responsibilities from founder and CEO Mark Borge, who has led the company’s success since 2004. Borge will continue as a local owner and advisor to the company. Best Facility Services is powered by The Facilities Group, a national leader in facilities management solutions.
