Manhattan Construction Company is pleased to announce the hiring of Rich Elwood for the role of project director in our Houston regional office. Rich will oversee the overall execution of projects and be responsible for the growth of our portfolio in strategic markets.

With nearly three decades of construction experience, Rich has earned a reputation as a proactive builder, executor, and responsive problem solver. Over the course of his career, he has been a part of more than $1 billion in construction projects in multiple markets including government, healthcare, education, industrial, and commercial sectors. He brings a unique perspective to the Manhattan team, having served as a client of Manhattan’s during his 20-year tenure at the Harris County Construction Department. Rich’s knowledge, experience, and relationships will be invaluable in his role with us.

Rich earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Texas A&M University.
