Westmount in Dallas Hires New Senior Legal Counsel, Alex Ingle

DALLAS — August 1, 2022 — Westmount Realty Capital is pleased to announce Alex Ingle has joined the private, national real estate investment firm as senior legal counsel. For more than eight years he has negotiated contracts and related agreements in a broad range of real estate and corporate transactions, including the acquisition and disposition of retail, multifamily, industrial and office properties, in addition to negotiating commercial leases and land acquisition for both commercial and residential development. His experience also spans the institutional investor market, working with investors and developers to structure partnership and LLC agreements and other business entities, focusing on domestic and international private equity co-investment transactions. In his new position with Westmount, Ingle will primarily be working on the firm’s transactional side coordinating all legal dealings related to acquisitions, dispositions and financing.

“Alex’s vast experience providing outside legal counsel and internal corporate counsel in the commercial real estate space will prove invaluable to our firm’s rapidly growing multifamily and industrial portfolios as Westmount continues to expand its presence across the country,” said Brant Brown, president and COO at Westmount Realty. “We look forward to Alex joining the team – it is an exciting time for our firm so having an attorney of this caliber will help further propel our success.”

Before joining Westmount, Ingle worked as a real estate associate at Wick Phillips, LLP. At Wick Phillips, he was primarily responsible for representing clients in real estate negotiations including the acquisition and disposition of commercial, multifamily and industrial properties as well as the acquisition of land for commercial and residential developments.

Ingle also spent three years as corporate real estate counsel for D.R. Horton where he was responsible for coordinating with company executives in the evaluation and approval of real estate transactions for residential development, multifamily development and commercial office buildings. His strategic legal counsel extended to compliance, working with various internal departments. Ingle also worked at Haynes & Boone for five years.
