Paul Layne announces the formation of Layne Property Partners (LPP), combining his 30+ years of experience on the corporate side of commercial real estate with investors seeking opportunities in institutional quality assets.

LPP is a privately held investment firm specializing in commercial real estate acquisition, repositioning and long-term value enhancement. Throughout his career, Paul has led strong teams of professionals rapidly closing large, complex transactions in almost every property classification. His relationship-driven approach has been key to his success in negotiating some of the largest commercial real estate deals in Houston and other US markets. Paul is excited about the opportunities he sees in acquiring diverse assets, which have the strongest and quickest lease-up potential in their particular submarket, providing investors a platform to participate in the benefits of owning commercial real estate as well as a risk-adjusted hedge against inflation.

Over his extensive career, Paul has held executive positions with Trizec Properties, Brookfield Properties, and served as CEO of The Howard Hughes Corporation, a $5 billion publicly traded commercial real estate company. In this role he achieved the strategic repositioning of the company’s acclaimed commercial, residential and mixed-use assets to drive sustainable, long-term growth and value for company shareholders.
