AUSTIN (Oct. 1, 2021) — United Properties announced today that Nicole Fontaine has joined United Properties – Austin as its development manager. Fontaine reports to Josh Delk, senior vice president of development.
Fontaine is responsible for supporting the overall industrial real estate development process and will lead and manage pre-development, due diligence, entitlement, design and construction in partnership with construction management.
“We are pleased to welcome Nicole to our team,” said Delk. “I am confident her management experience and strategic oversight will be a tremendous asset to our efforts as we continue to grow in Austin.” United Properties – Austin has expanded its development team from two to four this year. In addition to Delk, the team includes Chris Mase, vice president of construction management and Brenda Studt, development manager. The Austin office, which opened last year, is located at 1617 West 6th Street.
Most recently, Fontaine served as an analyst for Jones Lang LaSalle, where she assisted in the closing of $860 million of investment advisory transitions in Austin and San Antonio. She holds a Bachelor of Science and Business degree in finance and real estate from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and completed internships at The Opus Group and Colliers International.
