Houston, TX, November 29, 2021 – NAI Partners—the commercial real estate services business of Partners Real Estate Company—today announced that is has hired Garrett Mickal, MAI, an experienced commercial real estate appraiser and manager, as a new Senior Vice President in its Valuation & Advisory Services line of business.
In this new role, Mr. Mickal will cultivate our growing valuation and appraisal service offering, with responsibilities including reviewing, advising, and leading team members through various scopes of work as well as participating in key business development ventures. He will report to Gary Brown, Managing Director of NAI Partners’ Valuation & Advisory service line.

Prior to joining NAI Partners, Mr. Mickal was a Vice President of Valuation & Advisory Services at JLL, a role in which he performed valuation, review and consulting services for a variety of clients including government agencies, legal counsel, banks, and lending institutions. He primarily specialized in eminent domain, litigation and expert witness support.
Previous to that role he worked in the Transaction Advisory Services – Transaction Real Estate department at Ernst & Young in Houston, supporting clients with their evolving business strategy throughout the real estate lifecycle.
Mr. Mickal graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, and has a Master’s in Business | Real Estate Valuation from Virginia Commonwealth University. He earned his MAI Designation from the Appraisal Institute, and is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in Texas, Louisiana, Missouri, and Tennessee.
