Midway Expands Capabilities to Include Strategic Commercial Leasing and Advisory Industry veteran Lacee Jacobs hired to head integrated investment team

(HOUSTON, TX) – Houston-based Midway, a privately owned, fully integrated real estate investment and development firm, is expanding its suite of offerings to include Strategic Leasing and Advisory Services. The addition of this in-house group allows for a more holistic approach to executing remarkable places among Midway’s portfolio. The firm has hired Lacee Jacobs as Vice President of Strategic Leasing and Advisory to lead the new integrated investment team. Midway’s Strategic Leasing and Advisory group assumes the role of developing and implementing leasing and merchandising strategies to create value and ensure the success of Midway’s mixed-use portfolio. In addition to prospecting and executing new leases, which was previously handled by third-party brokerage firms, the new capability enables Midway to maintain close relationships with its tenants and provides opportunities for synergy among the firm’s growing portfolio of properties. “We know our projects better than anyone else, so we are best equipped to lease them,” said Jonathan Brinsden, Midway’s Chief Executive Officer. “With a true
understanding of Midway’s culture, values, and vision for our properties, the new Strategic Leasing and Advisory team is uniquely positioned to bolster our placemaking objectives and increase investor value.” Lacee Jacobs began her career at Midway and now returns as Vice President of Strategic Leasing and Advisory. Drawing on nearly a decade of industry experience, she specializes in merchandising and advising national, regional, first-to-market, and experiential brands. Most recently, Lacee worked with CBRE, strengthening their urban leasing team in Houston with her local and global perspective of the real estate market, translating to strategic and lasting real estate decisions for her clients. Prior to CBRE, Lacee worked with EDGE Realty and Waterman Steele. “Behind every successful Midway venture is an extraordinary team of talented and dedicated people. Lacee will excel in this position and we are thrilled to welcome her back to head up this specialized leasing group,” said Jamie Bryant, Midway’s Chief Operating Officer. “With years of real estate success in nearly every sector, her experience, leadership and enthusiasm will be instrumental as we continue to build an integrated investment team dedicated to holistically executing remarkable places.”
