Colliers Hires Wes Williams as Senior Vice President, Houston Industrial Team

Houston, Monday 28, 2022 – Colliers announces the addition of Wes Williams to its Houston Industrial Team as Senior Vice President. Colliers has steadily grown its industrial roster to the largest in the region.

Wes Williams specializes in industrial, land and investment real estate brokerage with a primary focus on selling, leasing, and acquiring distribution, manufacturing and service-center facilities. He is also heavily involved in site acquisitions, build-to-suit and design-construct projects. In 2021, Williams was selected as Houston’s “Industrial Rising Star” by the National Association of Industrial and Office Professionals (NAIOP). Prior to joining Colliers, Williams worked at Boyd Commercial for almost 7 years, where he was a top producer and responsible for more than $200 million in transaction value.

“Wes is a highly respected industrial real estate advisor in Southeast Texas and will serve to solidify Colliers as a dominant force in the industrial sector in this region,” said Colliers Houston President, Patrick Duffy. “We have been very careful about controlling our growth, especially with our very strong industrial team. We had decided to stop the growth with that team until the opportunity to add Wes arose. Our goal is to be big enough to have a leadership position but not so big that our team sees each other as competitors. The collaboration we have within our industrial team is outstanding and the team decided that adding Wes would only add to that powerful component of our success. We are confident that the level of expertise and service we can provide to our industrial clients will only be enhanced by Wes joining us.”

Williams graduated from Miami University with a double business major in Finance and Entrepreneurship. While attending Miami, he was also a captain of the football team, winning both a MAC Championship and bowl game during his time there. Wes is a native Houstonian and is an active member in many community involvements such as, Co-Chair of the NAIOP developing leaders program, the Christian Outdoor Fellowship, and the Strake Jesuit Alumni association.

Colliers’ industrial services group has a platform of more than 600 industrial advisors nationally, bringing specialized knowledge to their area of focus, whether it is in-depth knowledge of a defined geographic area, consulting services, or expertise in a subtype of industrial property.
