AUSTIN, Texas (Aug. 25, 2020) — United Properties announced today that Brenda Studt will join United Properties – Austin as development manager, effective Aug. 31, 2020. Studt is the first of several hires planned since the company opened a development office in Austin earlier this year, according to Josh Delk, senior vice president of Austin commercial development for United Properties. With several projects already in the pipeline, Studt’s hire is not only timely but crucial to the success of the new office, he noted. “Brenda is a proven leader who inspires and motivates others toward success through humility and positivity. Her exceptional relationship building and project management skills, along with her construction knowledge, make her a great addition to our growing team in Austin,” said Delk. “I have no doubt she will leave a lasting impact on our success in this new market.” Studt will relocate to Austin to take on her new role. As development manager, she will be responsible for supporting the commercial development process, leading and managing tasks in each development stage in collaboration with market leaders, developers, analysts and more. “I’m looking forward to working closely with Josh as we take on several exciting development projects in Austin, a city I am delighted to call my new home,” Studt said. Studt has more than 15 years of commercial real estate business development and marketing experience. Most recently she served as senior vice president/creative director at Excelsior Creative, an affiliate of The Excelsior Group, overseeing all agency operations and providing leadership and inspiration for various teams. She also spent seven years in senior marketing roles with The Excelsior Group, a Minneapolis real estate firm. Previously she held positions with Architectural Alliance and Stahl Construction. Studt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She is an active member of NAIOP, currently serving on the national business development committee.
