Endeavor Managing Principal, Ben Bufkin, is responsible for sourcing and executing development and acquisition opportunities for the company. In addition, he serves on Endeavor’s five-member Operating Committee and is leading the formation of Endeavor’s third fund, Endeavor Opportunity Partners III.
Ben is currently focused on the growth of Endeavor’s presence in the Central Texas industrial space and working on two larger Central Texas mixed-use developments.
From 2009 to 2019, Ben co-led the development of Domain, a 300-acre mixed-use development in north Austin. Once a 1.2 million square foot manufacturing campus for IBM, the Domain has been developed into over 10 million square feet of retail, office, multifamily and hotel. The Domain is considered the region’s top retail destination and is home to multiple Fortune 100 companies.
During the 2008 economic recession, Ben co-led the creation of a partnership between Endeavor and Prophet Capital Management. With Prophet, Endeavor created two funds designed to invest in RMBS bonds, CMBS bonds, single property commercial loans and distressed assets.
Prior to joining Endeavor, Ben was a Senior Real Estate Analyst in the Dallas office of HFF.
