Zenith Solar has signed a long-term lease for 14,000 square feet of office/warehouse space in the Great Southwest Industrial District. The Odessa, Texas-based company’s new sales and distribution center is located in the I-30 Service Center at 1025 Avenue G in Arlington, Texas. Josh Meraz, senior associate of Dallas-based Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services, represented the tenant in a two-month search for a North Texas location. The firm also has a location in Corpus Christi. “Zenith Solar wanted to be centrally located in the metroplex so Arlington is a good choice,” Meraz said. The company’s criteria included a 3,000-square-foot office to accommodate a growing force of sales representatives and ample warehouse space to provide a quick turn-around for solar panel installations. Zenith Solar caters to the residential market. “There weren’t a lot of options in the original size range, so we increased it to 14,000 square feet,” Meraz said. “That’s when we found this space.” Zenith Solar got its name on a 50,399-square-foot building visible from Interstate 30 and situated close to President George Bush Turnpike. “Visibility from I-30 was really attractive to my client,” Meraz said, “as was the freeway accessibility.” The office was re-painted and carpeted prior to occupancy while the warehouse area was move-in ready and offered two dock-high doors and one ramp. Robert Stanzel of NAI Robert Lynn represented the landlord, TJJ Properties LLC.
